1. Registered groups onlyफक्त नोंदणीकृत समूह

   Make sure your group is officially registered with GSO India; if it is not, register it through your affiliated intergroup. Closed groups, and groups that have not completed six months, are not to be registered; if one has been registered inadvertently, its IGR will not be permitted to vote.आपल्या समूहाची नोंद जीएसओ-इंडियामध्ये अधिकृत असल्याची खात्री करून घ्यावी; नसल्यास आपल्या संलग्न आंतरसमूहात नोंद करून घ्यावी. बंद पडलेल्या व सहा महिने पूर्ण न झालेल्या समूहांची नोंद घेतली जाणार नाही; अनावधानाने नोंद झाली असल्यास त्या समूहाच्या आयजीआरला मतदान करता येणार नाही.

2. Only the first IGR votesफक्त प्रथम आयजीआर मतदान करतील

   Each group has one vote, cast by its first (primary) Intergroup Representative. The voter list is published on 26 September; objections are taken until 28 September and the final list is announced on 30 September.प्रत्येक समूहाचे एक मत, ते समूहाचे प्रथम (मुख्य) आंतरसमूह प्रतिनिधी (आयजीआर) देतील. मतदार यादी २६ सप्टेंबरला जाहीर होईल; हरकती २८ सप्टेंबरपर्यंत स्वीकारल्या जातील व अंतिम यादी ३० सप्टेंबरला घोषित होईल.

3. One form, two postsएक अर्ज, दोन पदे

   The Alternate Delegate is elected after the Area Delegate election concludes. Both posts share a single nomination form.एरिया डेलिगेट निवडणूक संपन्न झाल्यावर अल्टरनेट डेलिगेट निवडणूक घेण्यात येईल. दोन्ही पदांसाठी एकच नामांकन अर्ज असेल.

4. Expenses and accountsखर्च व हिशोब

   Election expenses are met from contributions by A.A. members, trusted servants, intergroups and individuals. Hall rent, tea and snacks, documents and ballot papers are estimated at about ₹30,000. An income and expense statement will be presented immediately after the election process is complete.निवडणूक खर्च एए सभासद, विश्वासू सेवक, आंतरसमूह व व्यक्तिगत अंशदानातून केला जाईल. हॉल भाडे, चहा व नाश्ता, कागदपत्रे व मतपत्रिका यांचा खर्च साधारणतः ₹३०,००० असेल. निवडणूक प्रक्रिया पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर लागलीच जमाखर्च हिशोब सादर केला जाईल.

5. The deadline is finalअंतिम मुदत निश्चित

   Election notifications No. 01, 02 and 03 will be circulated in the Fellowship. No nomination form will be accepted after the deadline of 23 September 2026.निवडणूक अधिसूचना क्रमांक ०१, ०२ व ०३ फेलोशिपमध्ये पाठविण्यात येतील. २३ सप्टेंबर २०२६ या निर्धारित मुदतीनंतर कोणताही नामांकन अर्ज स्वीकारला जाणार नाही.

6. Suggestions and complaintsसूचना व तक्रारी

   Your suggestions and complaints will be received. The final decision will be taken by the Election Officer.आपल्या सूचना व तक्रारी स्वीकारल्या जातील. अंतिम निर्णय निवडणूक अधिकारी घेतील.

1. The Election Officer of the election meeting ensures that the names of all valid nominees are written on the black board.निवडणूक सभेचे निवडणूक अधिकारी सर्व वैध उमेदवारांची नावे फळ्यावर लिहिली जातील याची खात्री करतात.

2. The Election Officer then asks if any of the nominees desires to withdraw, takes his/her written consent for withdrawal, and deletes his/her name from the list of nominees noted on the black board.त्यानंतर निवडणूक अधिकारी कोणत्याही उमेदवाराला माघार घ्यायची आहे का असे विचारतात; माघारीसाठी त्याची/तिची लेखी संमती घेतात आणि फळ्यावरील उमेदवारांच्या यादीतून ते नाव काढून टाकतात.

3. The Election Officer thereafter calls for a written ballot. One vote per service post per voter is allowed. The first candidate who receives two-thirds of the total number of votes polled is elected.त्यानंतर निवडणूक अधिकारी लेखी मतदान घेतात. प्रत्येक मतदाराला प्रत्येक सेवापदासाठी एकच मत देता येते. एकूण झालेल्या मतदानाच्या दोन-तृतीयांश मते प्रथम मिळवणारा उमेदवार निवडून येतो.

4. After the second round of balloting (assuming no candidate received the necessary two-thirds in the first round), any candidate securing less than one-fifth of the total votes is withdrawn from the election automatically, except that the two top candidates must remain. (If there is a tie for second place, the top candidate and the tied second-place candidates remain.)(पहिल्या फेरीत कोणत्याही उमेदवाराला आवश्यक दोन-तृतीयांश मते मिळाली नाहीत असे गृहीत धरून) मतदानाच्या दुसऱ्या फेरीनंतर, एकूण मतांच्या एक-पंचमांशपेक्षा कमी मते मिळालेला कोणताही उमेदवार निवडणुकीतून आपोआप बाद होतो; मात्र पहिले दोन उमेदवार कायम राहतात. (दुसऱ्या स्थानासाठी बरोबरी असल्यास, पहिला उमेदवार आणि दुसऱ्या स्थानी बरोबरीत असलेले उमेदवार कायम राहतात.)

5. After the third round of balloting, the candidate with less than one-third of the total number of votes is withdrawn automatically, except the two top candidates. In case of a tie for second place, the top candidate and the tied second-place candidates remain.मतदानाच्या तिसऱ्या फेरीनंतर, एकूण मतांच्या एक-तृतीयांशपेक्षा कमी मते मिळालेला उमेदवार आपोआप बाद होतो; पहिले दोन उमेदवार मात्र कायम राहतात. दुसऱ्या स्थानासाठी बरोबरी असल्यास, पहिला उमेदवार आणि दुसऱ्या स्थानी बरोबरीत असलेले उमेदवार कायम राहतात.

6. A fourth round of balloting is often conducted. If no candidate gets the required two-thirds of the total votes in this round either, the Election Officer asks for a motion, by show of hands, on conducting a fifth and final round.बहुधा मतदानाची चौथी फेरी घेतली जाते. या फेरीतही कोणत्याही उमेदवाराला एकूण मतांच्या आवश्यक दोन-तृतीयांश मते न मिळाल्यास, निवडणूक अधिकारी पाचवी व अंतिम फेरी घ्यावी की नाही यावर हात वर करून ठराव मागवतात.

7. If the motion is defeated, the balloting is over and we go to the “hat” immediately. If there are ties for second place, the name of the top candidate and the names of the tied second-place candidates go to the hat. The names are written on pieces of paper, rolled and put in the hat. The Election Officer may ask anyone present at the meeting to pick one piece of paper from the hat. The candidate whose name appears on it is declared elected.ठराव फेटाळला गेल्यास मतदान संपते आणि लगेच "हॅट" (चिठ्ठी) पद्धतीकडे जाण्यात येते. दुसऱ्या स्थानासाठी बरोबरी असल्यास, पहिल्या उमेदवाराचे नाव आणि दुसऱ्या स्थानी बरोबरीत असलेल्या उमेदवारांची नावे हॅटमध्ये जातात. ही नावे कागदाच्या चिठ्ठ्यांवर लिहून, गुंडाळून हॅटमध्ये टाकली जातात. निवडणूक अधिकारी सभेत उपस्थित कोणालाही हॅटमधून एक चिठ्ठी उचलण्यास सांगू शकतात. ज्या उमेदवाराचे नाव त्या चिठ्ठीवर असेल, तो निवडून आल्याचे घोषित केले जाते.

8. If, however, the motion for the fifth round is accepted, the Election Officer orders the fifth and final round of balloting. If nobody gets two-thirds of the votes, the Election Officer announces that the choice will be made by lot, from the hat. At this point the balloting usually involves only the top two or three candidates. The person whose name is picked from the hat is declared elected.मात्र पाचव्या फेरीचा ठराव मंजूर झाल्यास, निवडणूक अधिकारी मतदानाची पाचवी व अंतिम फेरी घेतात. कोणालाही दोन-तृतीयांश मते न मिळाल्यास, निवड चिठ्ठीने (हॅटमधून) केली जाईल असे निवडणूक अधिकारी जाहीर करतात. या टप्प्यावर मतदानात सहसा फक्त पहिले दोन किंवा तीन उमेदवारच असतात. हॅटमधून ज्याचे नाव निघेल, ती व्यक्ती निवडून आल्याचे घोषित केले जाते.
